SENIOR PASTOR

Pastor Scott and Sister Jackie Carranza have served as Spanish language Pastors in the Denver Metro area since 1996 and at Denver Grace and Life Church since October 2002. Scott accepted Christ while studying for his MA in Latin American Studies at UCLA in 1989. Jackie grew up knowing the Lord in San Jose, Costa Rica, since the age of 9. In 1991, Scott and Jackie met and married in Denver. They have three beautiful children (Joshua {Cinthia is his wife}, Josiah {Michaela is his wife}, and Marisabella) and four grandchildren (Jayden, Jacob, Jeremiah & Aliyah). The Carranza family is blessed to serve in the Westwood Neighborhood.

WORSHIP LEADER

Brother Alejandro (Alex in English) has been our worship leader since 2009. His leadership, humility, talent, and faithfulness always open our worship services to the Lord’s Presence.  

Brother Alex has been married to Sister Marina for 35 years, and they have two grown sons, Daniel and George.  Our church is grateful and blessed to have their friendship and service!

Since 2002, when Sister Jackie began overseeing all areas of our children’s ministry, it has been a foundational part of our church. Our team has worked tirelessly year after year, and we have seen countless children give their hearts to Jesus!

Many of our church workers (music team, sound booth, youth ministry, AMS volunteers) grew up in our church as kids.  This is a testament to God and our children’s ministry team’s faithfulness!

YOUTH LEADERS

Joshua and Cynthia met and grew up in our church.  They married in 2014, and now they have four beautiful children (Pastor Scott & Jackie’s grandchildren). Covid knocked our youth ministry offline, and we have not had any leadership in place for several years.

Fortunately, Josh and Cynthia felt the call to work with our youth. They are doing a fantastic job, and our youth group is growing!
